Region

The Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce has been named after an unincorporated hamlet administered by Carpi, from whence it most likely began its spread to other areas back in ancient times.

The principal characteristic of this zone is the richness of the subsoil which owes its unique conformation to the waterways that used to flow over its, depositing sand, lime and clay in their beds.

These soil conditions, together with the favorable local climate and our considerable experience, accumulated in full respect of nature and its laws of harmony, have conspired to imbue our vineyards with a special vigor and our wines with authentic, unadulterated flavors.
